Why is my scheduled discount code showing as expired?

Learn why a scheduled campaign may not start and how to activate it before the scheduled start time.

If a discount code appears expired or an offer does not appear on your store, the related campaign may still be set to Inactive.

In Discount Mixer, adding a start date only schedules when the campaign can begin. It does not activate the campaign automatically. The campaign must be set to Active before the scheduled start time.


How scheduling works

  • Active: The campaign starts automatically at the scheduled time.

  • Inactive: The campaign will not start, even if the scheduled start date has arrived.

What you may notice

  • Discount codes appear expired or do not work.

  • The campaign status is Inactive.

  • Discount tables or offers do not appear on your store.

How to fix the issue

  1. Open the campaign in Discount Mixer.

  2. Check the campaign status.

  3. Set the status to Active.

  4. Save your changes.

Important

Make sure the campaign is Active before the scheduled start time. Otherwise, it will not run as planned.
