Easily display discounted prices, sale badges, countdown timers, and volume discount tables on your storefront using Discount Mixer’s storefront features.
Enable the Discount View Embed
To display discounted prices and badges on your store, you’ll need to enable our Discount view app embed. This is critical to ensure seamless display of all discount-related features across your storefront, preventing potential visibility gaps.
Additionally, Discount Mixer enables a clear visual representation of discounts by displaying the original price with a strikethrough alongside the discounted price both on the product page and at checkout. This immediately highlights the value of the discount for customers.
How to find it:
You can access the embed in two ways:
Use the direct link available on the Discount Mixer app homepage.
Or manually via Shopify → Online Store → Themes → Edit theme → App Embeds (left side of the top bar) → Search for Discount Mixer or Discount view.
How to enable it:
If you’re using our direct link, the embed should activate automatically. If not, simply toggle it on manually and then hit the Save button.
What happens after enabling?
Once enabled, the Discount View app embed becomes the main storefront integration responsible for rendering Discount Mixer campaign widgets and discount visuals across your theme.
It allows eligible active discount campaigns to inject storefront elements such as discounted prices, sale badges, countdowns, and promotional widgets into supported areas of your store.
Some widgets display automatically once enabled, while others require additional placement through Shopify app blocks or manual placement within your theme.
The availability of widgets depends on the page type:
Available across all storefront areas (including collection pages, featured products, search results, and product pages):

Available only on Product Detail Pages (PDPs):

All widgets are fully customizable and can be modified to better match your storefront design and branding.
Please note that some Shopify themes may not fully support all embed capabilities due to missing theme configurations or custom implementations. We recommend testing your storefront after enabling the embed to confirm compatibility and avoid display issues.
